I saw It's a Wonderful Life again the other day for the nth time, and it's no wonder that film has been been recognized by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 best American films ever made, and placed number one on their list of the most inspirational American films of all time.
It's easy to get bent outta shape about a lot of things big or small on a daily basis and moan and groan and complain but when you really think about it most of us have great lives.
I mean we're not living on the street or begging for food and all, we may not have everything we want but we have what we need to survive and that's what's important. It's all about putting shit into perspective, and when you realize you don't really have anything to complain about you feel peace and contentment.
George Bailey went through so much shit in his life and never really got to do anything he wanted to do, choosing necessity over luxury. And when he needed it most all the people he ever did anything for were there for him to bail him out.
